What can you expect at the Good Food Fest?

  • Epic Farmers Market - Bring your shopping bags and be prepared to shop. SNAP Accepted!

  • Good Food Demo Kitchen - Regional chefs will be demonstrating, explaining and sharing some of their favorite recipes. Chefs will be paired with farming friends to discuss the importance of sourcing local ingredients.

  • Meet the Maker Demos - We’ll also have 2 additional demo stations where you’ll get to meet our farmers and makers as they present speciality topics. Learn how to make kombucha, mill your own grains, and, understand where honey comes from and how important bees are to our food system.

  • Visit the Dairy Barn - learn more about local dairy, and the plight of the Pennsylvania dairy farmer.

    • Don’t miss milking time! Birchrun Hills Farm will be dropping by with a cow to show us where REAL milk REALLY comes from!

  • The Pouring Room - Kick back and relax while tasting local libations made especially for GFF by local brewers, maltsters, distillers, cider makers and wineries, all served from the Yard Bar!

    • From 11 - Noon Enjoy Tony Yoo on the mic!

    • And from Noon to 4 PM Frog Holler takes the stage with country rock!

    • The Deer Creek Malthouse malting truck is pulling in with a full malting demo!

  • Bring the kids! - We’ll keep them busy all day with fun activities to teach them where their food comes from!

    • Meet up with the folks from Great Valley School District and learn all about their Farm to School Program

    • Explore the barnyard! Say hi to the alpacas, calf, sheep, goats, and turkey!

  • Farmed Fiber - Hemp, now legal to grow in Pennsylvania, and animal fibers are an important agricultural product. Lean more about them from the experts.

    • The Hemp House is coming!

  • Plant Powered Nutrition - Are you thinking about decreasing the amount of animal proteins in your diet? Check out the local options at the GFF.

    • Immaculata University’s Nutrition and Dietetics Program will be on hand to discuss the healthy approach to eating whole foods and altering your protein sources.

  • Mindful Eating - Eating local opens your eyes to respecting where your food comes from enables you to make healthy food choices. We’ll have the professionals, registered dietitians, available to help answer your questions.

  • Pollination Power - without the honey bee we’re in trouble. Our bee keepers will enlighten you on the power of these pollinators.

  • Bring an appetite! - We’ll have a great selection of food trucks cooking up local food!

  • Sustainability Corner - We all need to do our part - learn what you can do to live a sustainable lifestyle.
